- I use Jeppesen/JDM with a G1000 Perspective (ie, the Cirrus version); not sure whether the Perspective update cycle differs from 'standard' G1000 but my process is this:-Remove Nav card from upper slot on MFD, remove PFD and MFD Garmin cards from their respective 'lower' slots-Load Nav card to laptop, open in Finder, delete 'LdrSys' folder.
